Job title: Client Manager / Trainer
Reports to: Operations Manager, BSI Australia

Job purpose

To conduct assessments and training on behalf of BSI and provide operations support as required.

Key Result Areas and Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform the role of internal Client Manager, managing clients and key accounts in a professional manner on behalf of BSI
  • Plan and deliver certification assessments for Quality, Environment, OH&S programmes, including integrated audits which you will carry out
  • Conduct assessments to achieve 60% utilisation throughout the year
  • Minimise overdue audits
  • Follow all BSI procedures as directed
  • Provide input into the service delivery process improvements
  • Liaise with GM-Operations to train and develop assessment resources
  • Conduct Report Review and Technical Review for relevant programmes as required
  • Provide technical input for new business proposals, including durations
  • Provide Management reports as directed by GM Operations
  • Provide support to operations through project work, as directed

  • Cost efficiency for client  and BSI during service delivery
  • Comply with accreditation requirements through BSI policies and procedures

Competencies

  • A minimum 5 years  experience in Management Systems with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Lead Assessor qualifications and experience conducting audits, Cert IV in Workplace assessments (trainer)
  • Hands-on experience managing, implementing or auditing within Management systems.
  • Experience in conducting management system assessments specialising in the manufacturing, engineering, product certification, automotive and  aerospace sectors is highly desired
  • A current Australian drivers licence
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and keen customer focus
