Implementing an Environmental Management System

In recent years environmental considerations have become increasingly important to the stakeholders of many organisations. No company can afford to ignore this trend, yet implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS) requires expertise.

This two-day course gives delegates all the appropriate tools and techniques to analyse the business and move forward with implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS). At the end of the course you will have all the skills you require to develop your company's EMS Project Implementation Plan that meets the needs of your organisation up to and including formal registration to ISO 14001 and/or EMAS.

This course covers the RABQSA TPECS EM – Environmental Management Systems Competency Unit whose outcomes are certified by RABQSA.  Attendees successfully completing this course receive a Certificate of Attainment for this RABQSA Competency Unit.

  • Making sense of EMS auditing
  • Understanding the certification / verification process
  • Defining the next steps - achieving continuous improvement with an EMS
