Course description

BSI's "BS 25999 Internal Auditor Course" assists participants in developing the skills and knowledge to conduct audits and self-assessments against the requirements of BS 25999-2, Business Continuity Management - Part 2: Specification

Through small group activities, audit role-plays, and lively discussions, students gain a thorough understanding of the principles of auditing and how to apply the guidance of ISO 19011, "Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing" to implement effective audit programmes for a business continuity management system. This course also reviews the Business Continuity Management - Code of Practice, BS 25999-1 and best practice surrounding maintenance and review of business continuity management systems.
