Introductory Level CourseIntroduction to BS 25999 Business Continuity Management

Course description

Business Continuity is a serious issue for all organizations and its management should be an essential element of the entire business. The ability for an organization to maintain its critical operations during and following a disruption, as well as the speed at which it is able to re-establish its full functionality, can be the difference between success and failure.

The need for a standard based on industry Business Continuity Management (BCM) best practice has been eagerly anticipated and the publication of BS 25999 by BSI provides a common framework for BCM. This one-day course will provide participants with an understanding of BS 25999 Part One, the new BCM Code of Practice standard. The interactive course style, which includes practical exercises and outputs, will help delegates to understand the implications of BS 25999 for their organization.
